Lohri Festivities to Light Up Mohali Malls
Mohali:
A vibrant traditional Lohri celebration titled “Virsa De Rang HLP De Sang” will be held on Monday from 5:30 pm onwards at HLP Galleria, located in the heart of Mohali. The event will showcase the rich colours of Punjabi folk culture, traditions, and heritage within the mall premises.
The objective of the programme is to preserve and promote Punjabi cultural heritage amid modern mall culture and to pass it on to the younger generation. Organisers said it is a positive sign that malls in Mohali are celebrating festivals like Lohri and New Year in a traditional manner, thereby contributing to the promotion of Punjab’s culture.
Such events provide children and youth with an opportunity to reconnect with their roots, folk traditions, and cultural values. A large number of city residents, families, and young people are expected to participate in the celebrations
